Outline Itinerary
Day 1
JAKARTA – APUY (L / D)
Meeting point at Karash Office in Jakarta at 08.00 and go directly to Apuy Basecamp, Majalengka by a mini bus approx 5 – 6 hours. Lunch on the go. Forecast to arrive at Apuy Basecamp at 14ish and this day spend the night at Apuy Basecamp / Homestay.
Day 2
APUY – SANGHYANG RANGKAH (B / L / D)
After finish breakfast at 08am and process the permit, then prepare to climb to Sanghyang Rangkah in 5 – 6 hours. At the beginning of the climb, the track is quite sloping and after passing Arban Post, the track is quite heavy with dense forest conditions. Lunch at Tegal Masawa or Tegal Jamuju. Forecast to arrive in Sanghyang Rangkah at 14ish, rest and spend the night in a tent.
Day 3
SANGHYANG RANGKAH – PUNCAK CIREMAI – APUY – JAKARTA (B / L / D)
Wake up early at 05am have a light breakfast then preparation for trekking to Puncak Ciremai 3078m above sea level. It took ± 2 hours and 30 minutes to reach the top, passing the intersection of Palutungan and Walet Cave with the trek is going up increasingly . Forecast to arrive at top of Ciremai at 8an, take photos and watch the natural panorama from the highest roof in West Java. At 09.30, return to Sanghyang Rangkah, have lunch then prepare to go down to Apuy Basecamp. Forecast to arrive at 16.00 in Apuy, clean up and rest. At 18.00, return to Jakarta by car, have dinner on the way back. Forecast to arrive in Jakarta at midnight. Trip is complete.
