Outline Itinerary
DAY 1
MALANG – LAWANG – LINCING (L / D)
09.00 Meeting point in Malang City and go straight to Mount Arjuno Welirang Climbing Post thru Lawang which is in Wonorejodengan Village by car within 2 hours. forecast to arrives at Lawang at 11 am, arrange permits, rest, and prepare for the climb. After lunch trekking to Lincing within 4 hours. Forecast arrive at Lincing at 16.00. Dinner and overnight in a tent.
DAY 2
LINCING -MAHAPENA – GOMBES (B / L / D)
After breakfast at 08.00, the journey is to explore Mahapena, passing hills and savanna that spoil the eye. Arrive at Mupasena at 11an, rest and have lunch here. At 12, the journey to Gombes takes 3 – 4 hours. The journey from Mahapena to Gombes is a quite exhausting because of the inclines along its path. Forecast to arrive in Gombes at 16:00 clock. spend the night in the tent.
DAY 3
GOMBES – PUNCAK ARJUNO – GOMBES – LAWANG – MALANG (B / L)
Wake up at 04.30, after breakfast, drive to Arjuno Peak 3,339 meters above sea level with an uphill track through Alas Lali Jiwo. On the way to the top we will first pass through Plawangan. Plawangan is the meeting point between the Lawang line and the Purwosari line. From Plawangan, the distance to the Peak is not too far, the area has started to open up and we will soon arrive at Puncak. Forecast to arrive at the Peak at 6am, take photos and enjoy
the beautiful view. At 09.00, go down to Gombes for ± 2 hours. Arrive at Gombes at 11am, rest, lunch and repacking. At 13.00 the real trip to Lawang takes ± 6 hours. It is estimated that arriving in Lawang at 18s, resting and cleaning, then having insight to Malang. Arrived at Malang at 21s. Trip is complete.
