Outline Itinerary
DAY 1
MAKASSAR – BARAKA – KARANGAN (L / D)
Meeting point at Hasanudin Airport Makassar at 10ish, from the airport, journey to Baraka by
car takes ± 6 hours. Arriving at Baraka, it is a pleasant journey by switching vehicles using a
jeep, truck or motorcycle taxi to Karangan Village for ± 2 hours. Forecast to arrive in Karangan at 20ish, rest and spend the night at the homestay
DAY 2
KARANGAN – CAMP 5 (B / L / D)
08:39 clock after breakfast, do packing etc., the climb starts towards Camp 5, the journey to Camp 5 takes approx 6-7 hours. At the beginning of the climb we will cross the river, coffee plantation and then enter the forest until Camp 5. Forecast to arrive at Camp 5 in 16s. Rest and spend the night in a tent.
DAY 3
CAMP 5 – PUNCAK RANTEMARIO – CAMP 5 (B / L / D)
Wake up at 02.00, prepare for trekking to Rantemario Peak within ± 4 hours of crossing the trek which will be uphill increasingly with the dominance of mossy trees. Forecasts arrive at Rantemario Peak at 7an. After enjoying and capturing the moment at the top, continue descent to Camp 5, rest, meals and spend the night.
DAY 4
CAMP 5 – ARTICLES (B / L / D)
08:00 clock after breakfast, packing etc., continue journey to Karanga in ± 5 hours. forecast to arrive at Karangan at 13ish. Rest, clean up and have lunch and spend the night at the homestay

DAY 5
KARANGAN – BARAKA – MAKASSAR (B / L)
Early wake up and after breakfast around 07:00 clock continue journey to Baraka – Makassar by car. The forecast to arrive in Makassar at 16ish. Trip is complete.
